Been looking for an old school local plumber who does not work on commission (aka Dream Team) and we found them. Mike visited this morning to diagnose issues with our toilet that were a super simple fix. He also gave commonsense advice on a previous issue that other companies had previously tried to upsell us on to the tune of 15k+. Gans recently replaced and relocated our home HVAC system. The job was definitely not straightforward but Brian came up with a great plan and Dave and the guys got it done neat, timely and professionally.

Came highly recommended. A shame the third question is we need a credit card. When told that I wanted to get an estimate, I was told that they wouldn't even talk to me because unless I put a credit card on my profile. Guess profit is put before customer service.

Gans came over to do an assessment, cut a hole in the wall and then told us they'd charge $4k to replace a leaking pipe. Never agreed to any work and no work was completed but these guys sent a bill for hundreds of dollars for the assessment, which the woman who scheduled never specified there was any charge associated. The only work completed was their guy cutting our dry wall which took like 20 mins (have it on our Ring cameras). I ended up fixing the leak myself for $25 at Lowe's. Will never recommend these guys to anyone, as they're complete scam artists.

Throwing an extra star because they came a day before closing on my house to address plumbing concerns, however I paid $175 for a 15 minute visit (and that was a courtesy discount from $225) only to be told that the tub drain didn’t drain slowly and wasn’t an issue. Found a new plumber who identified the issue immediately and did not charge hundreds. Not impressed.

Wow what can be said about this company that hasn't already been said? I had an emergency leak in the bathtub. I called them on a Thursday and they were able to squeeze me in last minute on a Friday. They were so professional. They explained in great detail what the problem was, and how they planned to fix it. They treated my house as if it was their own. They laid down plastic over every area. They were fast and clean with everything. Everything works better than before now. Reasonable priced! Area was cleaned up well after. I'd recommend them to anyone. And will use them again.

Our original hot water heater was purchased in 2009. I knew that it needed to be replaced and called several companies for quotes. I ultimately chose Charles Gans Plumbing. Mike removed the old gas hot water heater, installed the new unit, and made the appropriate repairs so that it met code requirements. The work area was protected and left clean. I have used Gans Plumbing on a previous occasion to install a water heater and it was a great experience. This past Saturday my wife discovered a leak in our mechanical room. Lucky for us it had just started.
I shut of the water and called Gans. With in 2 hours it was repaired. The technician, Matt was excellent. The office followed up on Monday. I am very happy to be a Gans customer!
