I don't even know where to begin. We had the most wonderful stay at Holekamp Guest Haus. It's by far the best B&B we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at quite a few. It's just 20 minutes from everything and the perfect location to visit Fredericksburg, Boerne, and Kerrville, and only 45 minutes from busy San Antonio. The grand home is decorated so beautifully with impeccable attention to detail. Every little amenity you could think of was taken care of, the rooms were clean and the bed was super comfy. A different delicious breakfast was prepared every morning. We enjoyed everything from omelets, bacon, french toast, waffles, pancakes, toast,and a refreshing berry compote with fresh homemade whipped cream to go on top! Simply amazing! Out back, there's a beautiful pool with a hot tub for the warm summer days and fire pit to keep you warm in the winter. The very best part of our stay was the time spent and the conversations that we had with the amazing owners, Joe and Ella, in the evenings by the fire pit. We loved hearing about all their stories and life adventures. They always had the best recommendations and Joe even booked our anniversary dinner reservations for us. You can't get any better than this, y'all! We felt as though we made new friends and were sad to go. Now to just find a reason to visit Joe and Ella Gay at the stunning Holekamp Guest Haus.

I stayed in the tank house. It is hard to believe it was transformed so dramatically into the cottage I stayed in.
Everything was perfect - what a treat to stay there. I could definitely get spoiled staying there. The hosts were so accommodating - anticipating every need even suggesting places to eat and delicious menu items to try.
I would definitely stay there again!

It was a perfect stay for eight of us! Beautiful two story Victorian mansion, decorated with a designer's touch. Six bedrooms with modern baths, comfortable beds, large televisions and high speed WIFI. The kitchen had all we needed for meals and our evenings were spent at the large picnic tables on a lovely patio surrounding the pool and hot tub. The owners, Joe and Ella, helped create a memorable experience for our Covid delayed wedding celebration. If you are in need of accommodations in Comfort or anywhere nearby, please be assured you will love the Holekamp Guest Haus.

An experience like none other!
Hospitality would be an understatement, Ella and Joe are fantastic! Holekamp Guest Haus is a truly unique gem. Over a century old this home has been cared for to maintain its character and charm, with modern upgrades and beautiful decor that create the best of both worlds. A perfect stay for a romantic getaway, reunion with friends, or a family experience.
It’s no coincidence it’s in Comfort Tx, and we will be staying again for years to come.

Fantastic rooms, fabulous hosts, and a delicious breakfast. The Holekamp Guest Haus has it all. We had a relaxing weekend out in Comfort. It was so lovely to be welcomed into a HOME and pampered for the weekend. They have a great fire pit outside, we were able to sit out and relax. Breakfast was catered to our specific requests and delicious and fresh. They definitely get all the details and know how to create a welcoming atmosphere. Great for a romantic getaway or a trip with family!

Best Bed and Breakfast ever! The home itself is absolutely gorgeous, freshly redecorated by owners Joe and Ella Gay. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, and there are luxurious extras, such as a massage chair, pool, hot tub, and an outdoor fire pit. In the front room sits a working antique Victrola, which Joe will play for you on request! The breakfasts are delicious and served with a stylish presentation. Joe and Ella are an absolute delight! Warm and accommodating, as well as interesting conversationalists! We will definitely be back soon, and I will be recommending this b & b to all my friends!!

Where do you begin to describe a place, an experience, a vibe that exceeds your every expectation? Because once you drive up and get your first glace at this stunningly beautiful house, you know without a doubt, that you've ARRIVED!!! To describe the interior of the house would not do it justice. It is simply exquisite in every possible way. But, the grand cherry-on-the-top is meeting and falling in love with the owners, Ella and Joe!!! They will treat you like family or their long lost friend the moment you step into their house! They are truly the warmest, most genuinely good people you'll ever be lucky enough to meet.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. Our hosts were so magnanimous and welcoming. The rooms are unique and well put together, not to mention, comfortable. Our home cooked breakfast was amazing and was eagerly devoured on the spacious patio. We can’t wait to return to Comfort, TX and Holekamp Guest Haus and it’s wonderful hosts.
